Proper maintenance of the milking systems of dairy farms, regardless of the configuration of the shelters rooms, ensures that the farmer manages his business correctly.

The configuration of conventional milking parlors is mainly divided into four types: tandem, herringbone, parallel parlor and rotary parlor. The fundamental difference lies in the management of dairy animals, in the case of a tandem room we are talking about individual management, in all the others about collective management (which will vary according to the number of seats available in each plant).

Obviously, the choice of one type or another provides for varying levels of automation of the milking operations, each plant has pros and cons also based on the number of operators and therefore on the manpower used to perform the milking as well as the handling of the dairy animals within the premises.

Beyond the examination of the different milking systems, it is important to remember that the specificity of the cleaning operations of the systems varies first of all according to the milking system, therefore it is necessary before proceeding with regular maintenance and cleaning, to make sure that a product suitable for the particularities of the machine in use at each farm.

In particular, for the daily cleaning and cleansing of the system we recommend the use of D/S SPECIAL; for the removal of more difficult residues such as milk stone we recommend the use of DISINCROSTANTE.

Cleaning of milking robots

In cleaning milking robots, the detergents used must first of all ensure a deep and accurate removal of residues present in the system, therefore they must have a formulation capable of effectively removing the inorganic deposits contained in animal secretions, for example lime and milk stone (ROBOCID).

The sanitation of the plants and of the milking parlors of dairy farms is part of the daily routine in farms (ROBOCLEAN), in fact it deals with daily operations that take place at high temperatures or even in vaporization conditions, if the machinery allows it.

Given the frequency with which these treatments take place, it is important to remember that the choice of quality detergents and disinfectants ensures not only the correct success of cleaning, but also an adequate maintenance of the machinery and technologies used by farmers.
